Amazing General Tsos Chicken. I literally drove an hour round trip to get this. They use ALL white meat chicken and their own breading. It was amazing. Nobody does it like this ANYWHERE! Thank you Rice Bowl!
I have been coming here for many years and consistently get good service and great food.
So I came here for years as a kid, went into the Marine Corps and ended up in Southern California. Every year afterwards I would come to visit my family and one of the places we love to go to is right here at Rice Bowl for the best Jersey Chinese food! Sure you may think why can't you get good Chinese food in California? Well you can't, I just haven't found it and believe me I have tried. It's just not as good. Maybe it's the water, maybe it's the vegetables but maybe it's just the fact that it's not fake here, it's a mom and pop place that I hope will last forever!
I've been eating from the Rice Bowl since I was a kid in the late 70s. The staff is very friendly and they always get the order right. The General Tso's chicken is my favorite- huge chunks of breast meat with no fat in a delicious sauce. No eat in here- only take out. I don't even think there's a bathroom LOL.
